What are some incidents that suggest of foreshadow the coming danger to the Sighet Jews? Why doesn't the community believe it is in danger?
They're are many incidents that suggest foreshadowing of danger toward the Jews in Sighet. There is when they segregate the Jews among all people, like wearing the yellow star. For example when they prohibit the Jews to go out at night and to have a any participation in the community. Then it comes when the place they live turns into a ghetto, the closing of the shops that Jews joined. There were small and huge things that happen that made it seem that danger was coming ,but the community still didn't do anything. The community was scared to believe what was going on around them, they were afraid to believe what they were told. They thought that all these bad things going around wouldn't affect them.
